Question

My bum seems to be getting bigger and bigger, I'm starting to look stupid when I wear tight jeans. Can you recommend any diet or exercise that will help?

Answer

Regular exercise and eating a balanced diet  are the keys to losing weight, and so can help you to reduce the size of your bottom.

You could try doing exercises that focus on your bottom, as this will help tone the area. However, this won't necessarily reduce the size of your bottom, as it's not possible to pinpoint exactly where you will lose weight from.

Experts suggest people should take 30 minutes of exercise at least five days a week. And it's recommended you incorporate different forms of aerobic exercise and weight bearing exercise into your daily routine. If you are able to join a gym you could ask the instructors for a specialised exercise plan that is suitable for you and your requirements

Bear in mind that people naturally have different body shapes. Just because your bum is slightly bigger than you want, it doesn't necessarily mean you have a health problem.
