What's worst about winter?

Forget the festive spirit and goodwill to all men. The miserable Youthnet staff tell us their winter gripes.

Helen

Helen, Communities Development Officer No doubt this will come back to bite me on the bum when my internet adept Nana reads it, but having her call me nearly every day in December to find out what I want for Christmas (then proceeding to buy something completely different) is no doubt the worst thing about this time of year.

Jim

Jim, Communities Manager Why the fuck do you even have to ask? It's fucking freezing. I can't feel my hands.

Kim

Kim, Journalist I never know what to wear this time of year. I either end up wearing too much and overheating on the tube or in shops, or I wear too little and end up freezing my arse off.

Tamsin

Tamsin, Editorial Manager I hate the fact that you get up in the dark, work all day, then come home in the dark. You never get to see the daylight!

Sam

Sam, Fundraiser I hate the darkness. It's really miserable, especially because my ears glow red in the cold and you can see them in the dark.

Cristabel

Cristabel, work experience student The worst thing about winter is the cold. It's always freezing when you have to stand around outside waiting for a bus or train that is more then likely about 15 minutes late. That, and the fact you're guaranteed to catch a cold at least once.

Julia, Journalist I hate the freezing and windy weather and always having a cold nose. I have to constantly blow it and then worry about whether I've got a tissue on me. Or do I just use my sleeve?
