Get Connected, the charity that provides a helpline for young people, recently launched Nobody's Perfect, a new website for young writers, actors and directors to showcase their talents and win the chance to make four short films about the issues important to them such as self-harm, sexuality and bullying. Young people between 16 and 25 were encouraged to submit films, scripts and music to showcase their potential for the project.

In the first stage of the competition Get Connected chose 8 winners from London:

Adam Wedd, Stephanie Lennox, Zemmy Momoh, Toby Cohen, Dulani Wilson, Timothy Unzola and Thomas Grigg.

The films entitled Overrated, Jump, Waiting Room and Numb were premiered at the Odeon Covent Garden and the winners were joined by members of the celebrity judging panel -Sandi Thom (I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker), JJ Feild (Northanger Abbey) and Georgia Groome (Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging). Hollywood star Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada) even dropped by the venue to chat to the winners and wish them luck for their exclusive screening.
